At Ink & Lace, all employees and volunteers are committed to fostering a safe, respectful, inclusive, and welcoming environment. By attending this event, you agree to comply with the Code of Conduct below. Individuals who violate this Code of Conduct may be removed from the event without a refund and may be prohibited from attending future Ink & Lace events.

Treat all authors, vendors, staff, volunteers, and attendees with professionalism and courtesy.

Be respectful and considerate of others. Please do not take more than your fair share of complimentary items (including advance reader copies/ARCs).

Use inclusive language and conduct yourself in a way that supports a welcoming space for all identities and perspectives.

Comply with all venue and event security procedures, including any required security checks, and always wear your badge while inside the venue.

Discrimination, bullying, harassment, or harmful behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.

Ask for permission before initiating physical contact or taking photos. Respect personal space and consent.

Harassment of any kind (including physical, sexual, or verbal harassment) is prohibited. Report incidents to event staff immediately.

Alcohol, smoking, and vaping are not permitted inside the venue.

Conduct yourself with consideration for others; do not engage in behavior you would not want directed toward you.

For attendees in cosplay: costumes must comply with venue rules and applicable laws. Prohibited items include explosives, live flames, firearms, and realistic replica weapons, as well as any other restricted props. Costumes must not promote hate or include insensitive depictions.

A passionate reader with an appreciation for literature across genres, Kate has long envisioned creating a welcoming space where the stories that have inspired her can be celebrated, shared, and thoughtfully discussed. She is also a writer and recently authored her debut novel, Deception: Shattered Ties (Book I).
